Pages of The Past

In the depths of the ancient library, Priya found the book she was searching for.

Her mentor, the librarian warned, "Priya, you should listen to me more. It's funny how things turn out when you don't."

Priya scoffed, "It's just a book." Ignoring the warning, she opened it and was yanked into an eerie, alternate dimension.

"Where am I?" she gasped.

"Answer the riddles," whispered the shadows.

Each riddle unveiled secrets of the library's past. Priya finally solved the last one and snapped back to reality.

Her mentor's knowing gaze met her bewildered eyes. "Sometimes, ignoring advice unlocks unimaginable adventures," he said with a soft smile on his face.

PS: I am participating in the #30days30stories challenge and today is Day 13. This amazing challenge is being hosted by Dagny and Nirja.
