Betrayal In The Newsroom

In the cutthroat newsroom, Ananya and Vikram were relentless rivals.

One frantic evening, as a big story broke, Ananya’s computer failed. Desperate, she watched her chance vanish.

Silently, Vikram handed her his laptop. "Tell me, when did you first know?" he asked, eyes steady. She typed furiously, heart pounding.

As the broadcast aired, she saw Vikram's byline on the screen—he'd already uploaded her story under his name. "I knew you'd need it," he murmured, walking away.

Shocked, Ananya realized he had helped her, but at a cost. Their rivalry had taken a darker, more personal turn.

PS: I am participating in the #30days30stories challenge and today is Day 19. This amazing challenge is being hosted by Dagny and Nirja.
